First Week a Success (minor technical difficulties)

Great Job Players, Parents, Coaches, Referees and Board Members! The first week of the 2006 Duck Creek Pop Warner League games was a success and thanks to all of you for making it a fun experience for your child. We saw a lot of good football this weekend even with some minor technical difficulties with the score boards, but
we are working on them and apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, we have two LONG weeks until our next set of games because we won't be playing over Labor Day weekend. That's OK, it will give us time to perfect our games.

Monday Night Kickoff

Teams are invited to the Channel 2 Monday Night Kickoff Show at Legends in De Pere over the next few weeks. Please get your $4.00 to your coach as soon as you can. Your child will receive a hot dog or chicken tenders, fries and unlimited soda (just what they need). Be sure to be on time (by 5:30) on your designated day. Do not call with reservations as seating has been set aside for you. There are occasions where the number of parents exceed capacity and Legends will do their best to accommodate everyone.
Be sure to
wear your Jersey and show off your team colors while rubbing shoulders with the Packer Co-Host and Guest. If you have questions, please contact your coach.

Request for Game Videos

| The League would appreciate any game video footage that can be donated for the end-of-year program shown at the banquet (and I know you're out there filming, I saw you!). The preferred format is from a digital (video) camera copied to a CD/DVD. Please turn in your donated game video to Matt Beachler, Leanne Kellam-Smith or any of the board members working the apparel tent. |
