The Duck Creek Pop Warner Football League and the Village of Suamico are partnering together for improvements to be made at Idlewild Park. This unique WIN-WIN partnership will contribute to the long-term health and physical well-being of the community while minimizing taxpayer burden.
The Village of Suamico will allow Duck Creek Pop Warner to improve their current field site by adding scoreboards, expanding the parking area, leveling playing surfaces and adding restroom facilities. In addition, the Village will provide all associated ongoing park and field maintenance ensuring longevity and security for the future of the park. This established park has supported numerous sports including football, soccer, lacrosse as well as many community events providing significant exposure and recognition for your generous sponsorship and donations. An agreement between DCPW and the Village has been executed and our goal is to have all construction and earth work done before the kick off of the 2012 season.
