Safety is a priority in the Pop Warner football program!
Each player must have a signed statement of medical clearance from a examining physician that the candidate is physically fit and there no observable conditions, which contra-indicate him/her playing football.
Note: If regular school medical examination was preformed after the first of the year (for the season you are signing up for), and the results are releasable to parents, a copy of such report may be used. If a physician feels that a physical done in the prior year is still valid, then a note signed in this year is needed.
The league policy towards unsportsmanlike like activity (i.e. fighting, intimidation, kicking, bad language or disrespect for authority etc. as game officials determine) is as follows:
If flagged for an infraction of this type, there will be a 15 yd. penalty and immediate disqualification from that game.
Any player ejected from any game for cause shall be ineligible for participation in their next game.
A second ejection during the same season shall be cause for removal from the team for the balance of that season.
Game officials and the league will strictly enforce this policy.
In addition to the safety see Age & Weight limit.
